So I've decided Lucas Shane as a first name. My boyfriend helped me decide on my middle name, since I had a million ideas. I decided I wanted it to be a name of a character from a movie that I love/ that changed something about. My ideas were Caleb (from a LOGO movie that's French, cant pronounce the name of), Angel (from Plata Quemada/Burnt Money, another LOGO movie), Ennis (from Brokeback Mountain), Jack (from many movies, including Brokeback Mountain, Pirates of the Carribbean, and others), Dean (from Supernatural), Dante (yes, from the book Dante's Inferno, dont make fun of me), Steven(actually, a friend of mine) and Matthew (after Matthew Shepard).
But after deliberating, and talking a lot, I decided on Ennis as a middle name. I definitely identify very strongly with the character of Ennis from the book and the movie Brokeback Mountain. I also respect him and I love the name. I was going to do Ennis Angel, and get rid of the Shane in my first name, because I really identify with the characters of Ennis and Angel. But Jayke helped me decide, and I decided on Ennis.

On another note, I am now in Salt Lake City. So yeah. Here for a while.

And I am going back and forth in my head about asking my parents to help fund top surgery. I have a feeling that they could say yes, but I dont want to be like "Hey, pay for this gap year and school AND my surgery!" And if I ask and they say no, I cant ask again because in my mom's mind, you can ask for something only once. I have about 100 dollars saved up. I'm just lucky I live right near Dr. Brownstein's office. No travel charges!

Im actually noticing random physical changes. I think that when you come out to yourself all the way, your body tries to catch up with your mind and tries to equal it. I'm hairier, on my arms and a little on my face, mostly jawline. I'm also noticing hair creeping up to the backs of my hands. My hands also are more muscular, and I can see the veins in the back of them. My damn cursed bleeding lasts for a shorter amount of time. I get pissed easier. Things like that. And Im not even on T yet. Im excited for that though.
